Big Foot Houses:  Residents are concerned about the ongoing trend of houses being torn down and replaced with residences which are too big for the lots.  This changes the character of our neighborhoods.

Prior to becoming Mayor, the City had in place a requirement that only a certain percentage of a residential parcel could be built on.

It became apparent that this ordinance wasn't working as intended.  I've been working with the Planning Commission and our City Planner to develop a new ordinance which will confront this issue.  We initiated a survey of Residents which showed support for such reform.  A new ordinance is in development and will be available for public comment soon.
